Tarbiyatul Mu'allimin wa Al Mua'llimat (TMI) is an institution consisting of a Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Aliyah integrate with the curriculum from the Department of Religion and curriculum of Pondok Modern Gontor. On education, the santris is obliged to use Arabic and English as a lingua franca daily languages. They are also required to follow the Boy Scout activities, Speech Training (Muhadharah). Extracurricular activities in Pondok Pesantren Madinatunnajah, such; martial art (Tapak Suci), soccer, badminton, table tennis, basketball, drama, Arts Marawis.
In further developments, to prepare the cadres and people who are able to lead the nation and its people in the future, the start of 2004 in Pondok Pesantren has established Ma'had 'Aly / High School Science Tarbiyah by the number of students as much as 35 people, who come from Pesantren alumni and other students . Built and composed by graduate lecturers from Al Azhar University Cairo, Universtas Islamic nation of Malaysia, University of Indonesia, and the State Islamic University Ciputat. Universities in the Pesantren is also a more academic approach to the control is pressed between the disciplines of life other than the caliber as some of stock to the public and lead the boarding area.
TMI Madinatunnajah ActivitiesIn the framework of the implementation of various programs to improve the quality of education and teaching in the Pondok Pesantren Madinatunnajah. TMI has a variety of activities that can be divided into daily activities, weekly, monthly or yearly, and other supporting activities that are educational. A. Daily Activities
Among the daily activities conducted by TMI to improve the quality of students and teachers are:
1. Tabkir (incoming class on time)
Activities undertaken by some staff TMI run around with the dormitory, canteen and other places for students to encourage so soon to enter for class, while in custody, along with some specific place to keep students and to know that too.
2. Class control and Boarding
To anticipate the vacuum class, the delay of teachers in teaching and other matters, TMI intensify control activities of classroom and dormitory for students of teacher learning takes place by turns in the picket officer.
3. Al-Muwajjahah (Learning Assistance)
Besides in the morning, students must repeat the lesson again in the evening, which is led by the guardian class and the teachers. From here students can freely ask the subjects the teachers.
B. Weekly Events
1. Weekly Meetings
To make the teachers' perceptions about the program and the Pondok Pesantren, as well as evaluation on the learning activities during the week related to teacher attendance, discipline, teaching, learning and achievement of the limit of the method of teaching teachers, sertiap held weekly on Thursday by the leaders and teachers Pondok - teachers who started at around 10:00 WIB.
2. Language Training and Seminars
This activity has to take several years now, and in an effort to improve language training for teachers, every Saturday afternoon held training and seminars in Arabic - a seminar with the experts and resource persons in the field for the teachers of Madinatunnajah.
C. Annual Events
1. Mid Semester Exam
Mid Semester materials in general and dirosah Islamiyah as the evaluation study and create a conducive learning atmosphere. Mid Semester followed by all students TMI.
2. Final Semester Exam
Semester examination process is a means of evaluating student learning TMI for one semester. The material covers all subjects and good general dirasah Islamiyah. D. Annual Events
1. Welcoming New Students Recipient santri new Pondok Pesantren Madinatunnajah opened early February to mid-July. The materials tested include al-Qur'an, dictation '(Arabic dictation), and Psikotes interview.
2. Activities Amaliyah at-Tadris (Practice Teaching) Amaliyah Tadris is one type of activities that are required followed by all graduates santri TMI Pondok Pesantren Madinatunnajah. Amaliyah Tadris activities or practices carried out each year to teach and was followed by santri of class VI TMI Madinatunnajah. In practice they hold a teaching subjects that are taught to the santri underneath them (santri Tsanawiyah and Intensive) using the official languages, namely Arabic and English
3. Try Out One of the business and management education MTs in the MA National Exam (UN) is a try out. Try out is the media competency testing students in the control of the material. Implementation try out to upgrade the passing grade from the State Final Exam earlier this year that santri more motivated for more study.
4. State School Final Examination (UAM) State school final examination was conducted with the public and the religious materials. Implementation of the UAM using classroom with monitoring conducted by the teachers themselves Madinatunnajah TMI. As for the desired target by Pondok related to the implementation of the UAM Madinatunnajah that can occupy a specific rank, especially in this Tangerang.
5. Niha'i exam (Pesantren Final Exam) One innovative step was conducted by TMI Madinatunnajah namely pesantren exam called nihai ' to class VI TMI Madinatunnajah. In addition to improving the ability of TMI santri class VI, and for the sciences that they get during the Madinatunnajah truly belong to them and stick in their hearts and minds.
